With the win, Cave Spring upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Salem (Salem, VA) to play the Spartans in a bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Salem lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA)

The Cougars now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Blacksburg for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 3.
