The Floyd County Buffaloes volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting James River Knights to 0 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Thursday.
The Buffaloes now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grayson County for a non-league game on Monday, October 2.
The Knights (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 13-0 record. In their last game, Alleghany defeated Carroll County (Hillsville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
