North Carolina High School Volleyball - North Stanly nudged by Gray Stone Day

The North Stanly Comets volleyball team (New London, NC), was nudged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC)

The Knights (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Union Academy nipped Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Comets encounter the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 2. North Stanly will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record.
