The Warriors (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Riverside-Durham was nudged by Northern Durham (Durham, NC), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vipers encounter the Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Vance County will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC).
