The Marquez Gladiators topped the visiting Torres Toros volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Gladiators now have a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orthopaedic for a non-league test on Monday, October 2.
The Toros (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA). The Nighthawks enter the test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Maywood Academy was knocked off by Marquez (Huntington Park, CA), 2-0, in a league test.
