The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) and the visiting Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA), saw Meridian's volleyball squad nip Skyline by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 2-8 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Warren County (Front Royal, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Warren County won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA)

The Hawks now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Central Woodstock for a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. Skyline will play a Falcons team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Clarke County (Berryville, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-5.
