The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) and the host Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL), saw Normal Community's volleyball squad beat Richwoods by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Normal Community upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Ironmen travel to Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 13-5.

The Knights now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Normal West for a bout on Tuesday, October 3. Richwoods will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.
