With the win, South Columbus betters its record to 17-0 on the year. The Stallions travel to North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to face the Scorpions in a non-league outing on Monday, October 2. The Scorpions go into the outing with a record of 8-7. North Brunswick won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against South Brunswick (Southport, NC)

The Patriots now sport a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to East Bladen for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 3. Pender will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 6-9.
