Lee's Summit Tigers (Lee's Summit, MO) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Belton Pirates (Belton, MO), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the Blue Springs Wildcats (Blue Springs, MO) in a Suburban - Big 7 challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Lee's Summit will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 1-0 league win over Raymore-Peculiar (Peculiar, MO).
The Pirates now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grain Valley for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2. Belton will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Raytown (Raytown, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.
