Russellville Panthers (Russellville, KY) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY), 5-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers face the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY) in a District 13 challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Russellville will attempt to better on its 7-13 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY).
The Wildcats now have a 0-14 record.
