Next, the Sartans confront the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a 4A District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. St. Pius X will attempt to move on its 10-2 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 1-1 non-league Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM).

The Pirates now possess a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Highland for a 4A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, October 3. Grants will confront a Hornets team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 9-3.
