In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Watseka Warriors soccer squad scored a close 7-3 triumph over the Iroquois West Raiders.
The Warriors (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Fightin' Irish come into the non-league bout with a 2-12 record. In their last bout, Bishop McNamara by Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL), 8-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL) in a Vermilion Valley bout, on Monday, October 2. Iroquois West will attempt to move on its 3-14 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the bout with a 2-11 record after their 7-0 league loss to Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL).
