Georgia High School Softball - Perry bounces Griffin

The Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) softball routed the host Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA), 8-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Panthers (16-4) will now prepare for their bout against Taylor County (Butler, GA). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 14-2 record. In their last bout, Taylor County toppled Macon County (Montezuma, GA), 7-0, in a league bout.

The Bears now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Laurens for a 4A Region 2 bout on Friday, September 29. Griffin will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Howard (Macon, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 18-3.
