The Statesboro Blue Devils routed the host Jenkins Warriors softball squad by a final score of 13-1 in Thursday's league battle.

The Blue Devils (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Ware County (Waycross, GA). The Gators go into the 5A Region 1 battle with a 7-8 record.

The Warriors now possess a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Islands for a non-league battle on Monday, October 2. Jenkins will meet a Sharks squad coming off a 19-4 non-league loss to Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA). The Sharks record now stands at 1-12.
