The Lamar Thunder softball team (Lamar, CO), was tipped 5-4 in Thursday's league test with the host La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO)

Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the James Irwin Jaguars (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 3A Tri Peaks test, on Tuesday, October 3. La Junta will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Jaguars enter the test with a 3-11 record after their 13-0 league loss to Wiley (Wiley, CO).

The Thunder (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Brush (Brush, CO). The Beetdiggers enter the non-league test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Brush was tipped by Wellington (Wellington, CO), 18-8, in a league test.
