The Lincoln County Red Devils softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Towns County Indians to 1 in the Red Devils league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Lincoln County improves its record to 16-3 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA) to clash with the Titans in a 1A D-II Region 8 game on Tuesday, October 3. The Titans come into the game with a record of 9-10. Lake Oconee Academy won 16-1 in their recent league game against Towns County (Hiawassee, GA)

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots (Hephzibah, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 8 game, on Tuesday, October 3. Towns County will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 0-8 record after their 8-0 league loss to Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA).
