Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Pocola Indians (Pocola, OK) and the visiting Mangum Tigers (Mangum, OK), witnessed Pocola's softball squad tip Mangum by a count of 7-1.

The Indians now sport a 31-7 record. They play next when they host Stuart for a non-league match on Sunday, October 1. Pocola will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Wilson-Henryetta (Henryetta, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 27-12.

With the loss, Mangum moves to 19-13 on the season.
