Missouri High School Softball - Mercer bounces Tri-County

The Mercer Cardinals routed the visiting Tri-County Mustangs softball squad by a count of 16-2 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Cardinals (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Grundy County (Galt, MO). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Grundy County topped Meadville (Meadville, MO), 6-5, in a non-league battle.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Linn County for a Class 1 District 12 battle on Monday, October 2. Tri-County will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to La Plata (La Plata, MO). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-11.
