North Forsyth Raiders (Cumming, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Shiloh Generals (Snellville, GA), 8-5 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 17-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lambert for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 29. North Forsyth will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Denmark (Alpharetta, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Shiloh falls to 7-14 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA) to face the Longhorns in a 6A Region 8 challenge on Monday, October 2. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a record of 4-17. Lanier lost 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Apalachee (Winder, GA)
