Virginia High School Volleyball - Carroll County over Alleghany

September 28, 2023: Covington, VA 24426

Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Cavaliers battle the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) in a Three Rivers match, on Tuesday, October 3. Carroll County will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record.

With the loss, Alleghany drops to 14-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to James River (Buchanan, VA) to battle the Knights in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 3. The Knights come into the match with a record of 8-6. James River won 3-0 in their recent league match against Floyd County (Floyd, VA)
