The Churchill Lancers prevailed the host Ashland Grizzlies volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Lancers now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sheldon for a non-league test on Monday, October 2. Churchill will confront a Irish team coming off a 3-0 league win over Willamette (Eugene, OR). The Irish record now stands at 15-7.
The Grizzlies (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Caldera (Bend, OR). The enter the non-league test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Caldera dropped by Mountain View (Bend, OR), 3-0, in a league test.
