The Pine Grove Panthers topped the visiting Ashland Blue Devils volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
The Panthers now have a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ripley for a non-league game on Saturday, September 30. Pine Grove will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 13-15.
The Blue Devils (3-14) will now prepare for their game against Thrasher (Booneville, MS). The Rebels enter the non-league game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Thrasher dropped by New Site (New Site, MS), 2-1, in a non-league game.
