In Thursday's league test, the host Bolsa Grande Matadors volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Loara Saxons.

The Matadors now have a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santiago for a Garden Grove test on Tuesday, October 3. Bolsa Grande will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-10.

The Saxons (9-12) will now prepare for their test against La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Aztecs enter the Garden Grove test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, La Quinta gained a win over Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
