Florida High School Volleyball - Branford over Union County

September 28, 2023: Branford, FL 32008

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Branford Buccaneers (Branford, FL) and the visiting Union County Fightin' Tigers (Lake Butler, FL), saw Branford's volleyball squad beat Union County by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Branford upgrades its record to 16-4 on the year. The Buccaneers host Lafayette (Mayo, FL) to play the Hornets in a 1A District 6 bout on Monday, October 2. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Lafayette won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Suwannee (Live Oak, FL)

The Fightin' Tigers now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Bell for a 1A District 6 bout on Saturday, September 30. Union County will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Dixie County (Cross City, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-5.
