The Brunswick Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Sussex Central Tigers to 1 in the Bulldogs league victory on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now have a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Surry County for a Tri-Rivers game on Monday, October 2. Brunswick will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-9.

The Tigers (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Greensville County (Emporia, VA). The Eagles enter the Tri-Rivers game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Greensville County dropped by Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
