    Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR), 3-1 in a league match.

    Next up, the Hornets battle the Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) in a 6A Central match, on Tuesday, October 3. Bryant will attempt to advance on its 9-11 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 13-4 record after their 3-0 league win over North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR).

    With the loss, Jonesboro drops to 4-13 on the campaign. The Hurricane host Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR) to battle the Raiders in a non-league match on Monday, October 2. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 6-10. Nettleton lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Marion (Marion, AR)
