The Cedar Mountain Cougars held off the host Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyola for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Cedar Mountain will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-7.
The Mustangs (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Loyola (Mankato, MN). The Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Loyola was nudged by Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman (Granada, MN), 2-0, in a non-league test.
