Illinois High School Volleyball - Marion over Cahokia

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL) and the host Cahokia Comanches (Cahokia, IL), saw Marion's volleyball squad beat Cahokia by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Marion upgrades its record to 9-12 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Frankfort (West Frankfort, IL) to play the Redbirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Redbirds go into the bout with a record of 6-19. Frankfort lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL)

The Comanches now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Breese Central for a non-league bout on Friday, September 29. Cahokia will play a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Salem (Salem, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 13-2.
