The Carver Tigers (Columbus, GA) volleyball overcame the visiting Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Carver upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Shaw (Columbus, GA) to face the Raiders in a non-league outing on Monday, October 2. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 2-12. Shaw lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Hardaway (Columbus, GA)
The Cherokees now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy for a 2A Area 2 outing on Saturday, September 30. Kendrick will face a Chargers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 28-7.
