In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Waterloo Cougars volleyball team scored a decisive 25-20 triumph over the Cherokee Indians.
The Cougars (7-14) will now prepare for their battle against Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 6-20 record.
Next, the Indians clash with the Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 3. Cherokee will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 6-12 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Sheffield (Sheffield, AL).
