In Thursday's league contest, the Clovis Cougars (Clovis, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) in a Tri-River contest, on Thursday, October 5. Clovis will attempt to better on its 10-17 season record.

With the loss, Clovis West moves to 23-5 on the year. The Golden eagles travel to Clovis North (Fresno, CA) to battle the Broncos in a Tri-River contest on Tuesday, October 3. The Broncos go into the contest with a record of 24-5. Clovis North lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Buchanan (Clovis, CA)
