The Craig County Rockets volleyball team (New Castle, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA)

The Fighting Blues (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Narrows (Narrows, VA). The Green Waves enter the Pioneer challenge with a 1-9 record. In their last challenge, Narrows was dropped by Bath County (Hot Springs, VA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rockets encounter the Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 2. Craig County will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The EAGLES enter the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA).
