The Crete-Monee Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Rich Township Raptors to 1 in the Warriors league victory on Thursday.

The Warriors now have a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thornwood for a Southland game on Tuesday, October 3. Crete-Monee will meet a Thunderbirds team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Thornridge (Dolton, IL). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 5-15.

The Raptors (7-17) will now prepare for their game against Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 16-5 record. In their last game, Homewood-Flossmoor nipped Stagg (Palos Hills, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
