The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) and the visiting Danville Admirals (Danville, KY), saw Garrard County's volleyball squad beat Danville by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Garrard County upgrades its record to 14-12 on the year. The Golden Lions travel to Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 5. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 7-11.

The Admirals now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Danville Christian Academy for a District 45 bout on Monday, October 9. Danville will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Berea (Berea, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 6-11.
