In Thursday's league battle, the host Kennedy Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Derby Red Raiders.
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Seymour (Seymour, CT). The Wildcats come into the Naugatuck Valley battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Seymour defeated Crosby (Waterbury, CT), 3-0, in a league battle.
