The Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT) volleyball overcame the host Juab Wasps (Nephi, UT), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Emery betters its record to 17-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Panguitch (Panguitch, UT) to face the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 7. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 14-5.

The Wasps now sport a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Richfield for a 3A Region 12 outing on Tuesday, October 3. Juab will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-12.
