The Westminster Lions volleyball team (Westminster, CA), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Garden Grove Argonauts (Garden Grove, CA)

The Argonauts (8-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Katella (Anaheim, CA). The Knights enter the Golden West challenge with a 1-18 record. In their last challenge, Katella was dropped by Ocean View (Huntington Beach, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies (Santa Ana, CA) in a Golden West challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Westminster will attempt to move on its 9-15 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 3-1 league win over Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA).
