In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Richton Rebels volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Heidelberg Oilers.
The Rebels (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The War Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 4-20 record. In their last battle, Wayne County went down by Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Oilers encounter the Bay Springs Bulldogs (Bay Springs, MS) in a Class 1 Region 7 battle, on Monday, October 2. Heidelberg will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 11-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Morton (Morton, MS).
