Ohio High School Volleyball - Lakewood over Holy Name

September 28, 2023: Parma Heights, OH 44130

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lakewood Rangers (Lakewood, OH) and the host Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH), saw Lakewood's volleyball squad beat Holy Name by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Lakewood upgrades its record to 5-12 on the year. The Rangers host Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH) to play the Bombers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Kenston won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Riverside (Painesville, OH)

The Green Wave now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Normandy for a Great Lakes bout on Tuesday, October 3. Holy Name will play a Invaders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Brooklyn (Brooklyn, OH). The Invaders record now stands at 10-7.
