The Summit Tamalpais Timberwolves volleyball team (Richmond, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Holy Names Monarchs (Oakland, CA)

The Monarchs (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Contra Costa Christian (Walnut Creek, CA). The Cougars enter the Bay Counties - General challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Contra Costa Christian defeated Cornerstone Christian (Antioch, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Timberwolves meet the Kennedy Eagles (Richmond, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 4. Summit Tamalpais will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Vallejo (Vallejo, CA).
