Virginia High School Volleyball - James River Midlothian over Manchester

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) and the visiting Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA), saw James River Midlothian's volleyball squad beat Manchester by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, James River Midlothian upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Rapids travel to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Thomas Dale won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Petersburg (Petersburg, VA)

The Lancers now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host J.R. Tucker for a non-league battle on Monday, October 2. Manchester will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-7.
