The Port Gibson Blue Waves topped the visiting Jefferson County Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Blue Waves now have a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Natchez for a non-league test on Thursday, October 5.
The Tigers (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Wesson (Wesson, MS). The Cobras enter the Class 3 Region 7 test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Wesson was knocked off by West Marion (Foxworth, MS), 3-1, in a non-league test.
