The South Lenoir Blue Devils volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Kinston Vikings to 0 in the Blue Devils league victory on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wallace-Rose Hill for a East Central 2A game on Tuesday, October 3. South Lenoir will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-3.

The Vikings (0-10) will now prepare for their game against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Panthers enter the East Central 2A game with a 8-8 record. In their last game, East Duplin gained a win over Liberty Christian Academy (Richlands, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
