The Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL) volleyball overcame the host Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Lamar County upgrades its record to 25-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Winston County (Double Springs, AL) to face the Yellowjackets in a 2A Area 11 outing on Tuesday, October 3. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a record of 10-16. Winston County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against East Lawrence (Trinity, AL)

The Blue Devils now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Hackleburg for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 10.
