The Cardinals (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen come into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Edgerton went down by Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Saints encounter the Jackson County Central Huskies (Jackson, MN) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 2. St. James will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Huskies come into the battle with a 4-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Concordia Academy (Roseville, MN).
