The Mena Bearcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Magnolia Panthers to 0 in the Bearcats league victory on Thursday.

The Bearcats now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arkadelphia for a 4A West game on Monday, October 2. Mena will meet a Badgers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Fountain Lake (Hot Springs National Park, AR). The Badgers record now stands at 3-12.

The Panthers (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Waldron (Waldron, AR). The Bulldogs enter the 4A West game with a 7-12 record. In their last game, Waldron dropped by North Decatur (Greensburg, IN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
