In Thursday's non-league contest, the Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Montgomery Catholic Knights (Montgomery, AL), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Saint James Trojans (Montgomery, AL) in a 6A Area 4 contest, on Tuesday, October 3. Pike Road will attempt to better on its 26-5 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 21-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Park Crossing (Montgomery, AL).
