In Thursday's league battle, the host Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Wakefield School Fighting Owls .

The Yellow Jackets (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Page County (Shenandoah, VA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Page County nudged Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Fighting Owls encounter the Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) in a VISAA Division 2 battle, on Monday, October 2. Wakefield School will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Quantico (Quantico, VA).
