The Reese Rockets topped the visiting Vassar Vulcans volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Rockets now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelby for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Reese will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Hesperia (Hesperia, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 16-9.

The Vulcans (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Cass City (Cass City, MI). The Red Hawks enter the Greater Thumb - West test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Cass City dropped by Manchester (Manchester, MI), 2-1, in a non-league test.
