The William Monroe Dragons volleyball team (Stanardsville, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA)

The Wildcats (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Knights enter the Valley challenge with a 10-5 record. In their last challenge, Turner Ashby defeated Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Dragons meet the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. William Monroe will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Trailblazers enter the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
